Crews from Volunteer Electric (VEC) at this hour (7 a.m. central Sunday, October 8, 2017) are working to restore power to a couple of areas in Crossville. As of 7 am this morning, just over 1,000 customers were without power. VEC says estimated time of restoration is around 8:15 am central. VEC officials say crews are ready to respond throughout the day as what is left of Hurricane Nate enters the listening area late this afternoon and tonight.
