PREDATORS SIGN FORWARDS AS NHL FREE AGENCY BEGINS
The Nashville Predators started NHL Free Agency by signing forward Connor Brickley to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal pays Brickley $650,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 at the AHL level. Brickley played 44 games last season for the Florida Panthers picking up four goals and eight assists to go along with 19 penalty minutes. He was drafted in the second round (50th) by Florida in 2010. The Predators also signed forward Rocco Grimaldi to a one-year, two-way deal worth $650,000 at the NFL level and $300,000 at the AHL level. The NHL Free Agency period kicked off last Saturday night.
