The public is invited to come give Cumberland County veterans a welcome home tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019) when they return from their visit to Washington, D.C. The veterans are part of HonorAir Flight 29 that transported them to the nation’s capital to visit military and other memorials. They are expected to arrive at the Holiday Inn Express on Peavine Road and I-40 around 9 p.m. All are encouraged to come out with American flags to welcome the veterans back home.
