Seven of the eight candidates running for two seats on the Crossville City Council appeared at a public forum Tuesday evening. The Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce presented the event which was hosted at the Cumberland County Playhouse. For 90 minutes the candidates gave short opening statements and then answered eight questions that were at the forefront of voter’s concerns. Participants in the forum were JH Graham III, David Warner, Rob Harrison, Jerry “JJ” Brownstead, Jeanette Parsons, Terri Manning, and Scott Shanks. Candidate Charles Cooper Jr. was unable to be at the event, however a statement from the candidate was read.
