A memorial for a fallen police K-9 officer in Crossville will continue Thursday. Wednesday evening, hundreds of Crossville and Cumberland County residents paid their respects to K-9 Officer Cain and his handler Lt. Bart Riden at a special public visitation held at the Crossville Police Dept. Those attending filed past the urn which contained the remains of Cain, complete with honor guard. They were also invited to sign a large display with pictures of Cain and Lt. Riden. A processional will take place today beginning at 11 AM at Central Baptist Church on Highway 127 South, heading north through the city and ending with a memorial service at the Duer Soccer Complex.
