A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted 55-year-old Robert Clifford Rains of Crossville for 30 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

The indictments state Rains was in possession on or about May 28, 2021, of numerous materials of a minor engaged in sexual activity.

Rains was arrested by Cumberland County deputies and taken to jail.

He was placed under a $75,000 bond.

Rains is scheduled to be arraigned in criminal court on March 8, 2024.
