RECKLESS DRIVER CALL RESULTS IN TWO ARRESTS ON PEAVINE ROAD

Police officers in Crossville were called Tuesday morning to intercept a possible reckless driver on Peavine Road near I-40. The report states 20-year-old Summer Lee Williams of Fairfield Glade was pulled over. She along with a passenger, 50-year-old Larena Nell Williams, were told to step out the vehicle. Authorities say Summer Williams failed a sobriety test and a search revealed pills, syringes, narcotic smoke pipes and a ledger. Larena Williams was charged with possession of a legend drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Summer Williams was arrested for DUI and served a summons for joyriding.
