Crossville police recently went to a home on Storie Avenue to take a theft report. The owner told officers he rented the residence fully furnished with no damage noted to a male in his mid-40’s. When the tenant was recently evicted, the homeowner discovered it was vandalized. A hot water heater and washer and dryer were missing. A bedroom wall was torn down and heating and air unit was destroyed. A rental dwelling next door sustained $10,000 in damages. Three suspects were named in the incidents.
