The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a report today of a vehicle versus a pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon in Cumberland County. Trooper Jeremy Newcome says a 2019 Toyota Avalon driven by 81-year-old Joseph Crozier of Crossville was traveling south on Peavine Road next to Weigel’s when 85-year-old Salvatore D’Addona was struck with the mirror of the Avalon. D’Addona was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. This makes the sixth pedestrian hit by a motorist in the county so far this year.
