Cumberland County deputies and Fairfield Glade police responded recently to a home on the 200 block of Rugby Road to a robbery. Dispatch informed officers that a male armed with a gun attempted to rob the homeowner. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. One individual there told authorities he saw a man running towards him that nearly matched the description given of the suspect. The only description given was the robber had on a blue bandanna, a hoodie and pants. The incident remains under investigation.
