In March, Crab Orchard Elementary and Middle School Archeries, as well as SMHS Archery competed at the state tournament in both 3D and bullseye archery.  Both Crab Orchard teams qualified for Nationals in 3D and bullseye.  SMHS Archery won first-place in the state in team 3D.

The following individuals also earned state accolades from Crab Orchard Middle:
Reegan Eaton placed 2nd in middle-school and 7th overall
Alex Hall was overall middle-school champion and placed 2nd overall

SMHS state accolades:
Trevor Thompson won state champion in both 3D and bullseye
Layla Kilgore won overall state champion girl in 3D
Braxton Wilbanks individually qualified for Nationals in 3D
Andrew Hall individually qualified for Nationals in bullseye
Maddy Young individually qualified for Nationals in both 3D and bullseye
Crab Orchard is coached by Cindy Miniard, Charles Pasters, and Jake Beaty.

The Crab Orchard Elementary school team members include Andy Barnes, Bella Barnes, Bo Barnes, Abel Braden, Gage Collins, Reid Creekmore, Peyton DeAnda, Madison Gibson, Charlie Houston, Riley Palmer, Colton Parrigin, Jax Reagan, Chloe Richards, Jemma Sherrill, Sunny Snell, Witten Stofflet, and Gunner Walker.

The Crab Orchard middle school team members include Amelia Beaty, Aden Bullard, Ryder Cook, Mady Dillon, Nathan Drew, Reegan Eaton, Ryker Eaton, Janson Green, Shayla Green, Alex Hall, Jaiden Harrison, Shelby Newcome, Grady Pelfrey, Kaydence Pelfrey, Riley Radcliffe, Natalie Scarberry, Reed Scarberry, RaeAnn Smith, Bella Stephens, Sarah Grace Swaw, Addi Thompson, Jayla Thompson, Gage Tollett, Jackson Velocci, Alivia Walker, Jaxon Wallace, and Alexis Young.

SMHS is coached by Nathan Thompson.  Team members include Wesley Abbott, Ella Beaty, Wyatt Blaylock, Katelin Dinkins, Raylen Eaton, Andrew Hall, Layla Kilgore, Bri Powell, Trevor Thompson, Braxton Wilbanks, Anderson York, and Maddy Young.

The Crab Orchard teams and SMHS individuals will be competing May 8^th -10^th at the 2025 NASP US Eastern National in Louisville, Kentucky. We wish them the best of luck!
