Rev. Larry Chaney, age 71, of Harriman, passed away October 27, 2018. He pastored Emory Gap Independent Church of God in Rockwood for several years. He is survived by his children: Amanda, Jacob and Caleb Chaney; siblings: Troy (Betty) Chaney, Charles Eugene (Brenda) Chaney, Rita Justice and Shelby (Richard Jr.) Brown; special uncle: Eddie Frank Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow.
