REWARD FOR SUSPECT IN UNPROVOKED POLICE OFFICER ATTACK GROWS TO $9500
The reward for information leading to the arrest of an unknown subject who attacked a Knoxville Police Officer while he was directing traffic at a UT football game continues to rise. The Fraternal Order of Police donation has brought the reward to $9,500. Both the FBI and TBI had previously offered rewards.
Officer B.K. Hardin was directing traffic after the UT/Missouri game when he was struck from behind.
According to authorities, the suspect is a male, believed to be in his mid-20s and clean shaven. He’s approximately 6 feet tall and weighs around 160 pounds. If you have any information, contact KPD at 865-215-7212.
