A 40-year-old Crossville resident, Ricky Dewayne Young, was arrested on September 13, 2026, following an incident at Turner Road.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding a possible fight at approximately 5:00 PM and discovered Young inside the residence wearing only underwear, with blood smeared on his arms, groin area, and the front door.

According to the incident report, Young had sustained a dog bite at his own residence next door at Turner Road before running into the victims’ home without consent.

While inside, Young refused repeated commands to leave, displaced furniture and kitchen appliances, and claimed someone outside had a gun.

The homeowners attempted to block Young from entering and later provided home security camera footage to responding deputies.

Emergency medical services evaluated Young at the scene for the dog bite, but he refused treatment.

Young was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing, with a court date scheduled for October 19, 2026, and bond set at $10,000.
