RIPLEY ARRESTED AFTER REPORTEDLY CHOKING FEMALE WITH HIS HANDS
An attack on a Cumberland County woman landed a man in jail last Friday. Deputies responded to a residence on Highway 70 East where 30-year-old Ronald William Ripley reportedly grabbed a woman by her throat with both hands until she lost consciousness. Ripley then allegedly started to drag the victim across a gravel parking lot. Ripley was arrested for aggravated assault and violation of bond conditions.
