Some fallout has occurred within the Roane County Rescue Squad following the release of an investigative report on the organization. Rescue Squad Board Chairman Bobby Anderson said in an article in the Roane County News “As of right now, the captain (Eddie Jones) has been suspended until we can look into this situation and see what’s going on. The State Comptroller’s Office investigated allegations of malfeasance within the rescue squad and recently relased the report which shows improper spending of the Squads funds. Anderson added that the board plans to meet in the coming days to “look into every issue that they come up with’.
