The Roane County Commission will discuss a resolution related to schools at their meeting tomorrow night (Monday, December 9, 2019). Commissioner David Brashears sponsors the resolution calling for the state general assembly to consider making school superintendents or director of schools an elected position. Currently they are appointed by school boards. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the courthouse in Kingston.
