Roane County is welcoming back one of their own that served overseas in the Middle East. Sgt. Brett Watts served with the 82nd Airborne Division and recently returned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where his family awaited his return. This was a very special moment for Sgt. Watts as he met his infant son for the first time. Prior to returning back to the United States, he was able to see his son by way of pictures and on FaceTime. Watts is the son of Roane County Sheriff’s Department corrections officers Gary and Aimee Cole Watts.
