A Roane Countian recently lost his life after he was struck and killed by a motorist in Florida. Authorities say 37-year-old Thomas Logan Cofer of Rockwood was attempting to cross Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach when he was tragically struck by a 2007 Saturn operated by 35-year-old Joseph Filo. Cofer was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department.
