ROANE COUNTY CONVICTED CHILD PORNOGRAPHER SERVING TIME IN FEDERAL PRISON
Court officials say a state charge against a Roane County man convicted of child pornography has been dismissed. The reason for the state charge dismissal was not initially revealed. Federal authorities handed down indictments against 25-year-old David Tyler Wilson of Oliver Springs while the state charge was pending in court. He plead to federal charges of production of child pornography and possession of child pornography last year and received 22 years in prison. Officers say Wilson sent an undercover agent pictures of child pornography, including one of a baby, he produced. Wilson is now serving his time in a minimal security federal prison in North Carolina. When Wilson is released, he will be on 15 years supervised release and will register as a sex offender.
