A Roane County man has been charged with child sex crimes. Officers took 46-year-old Bobby Ray Kennedy into custody on grand jury indictments on two counts of solicitation of a minor. Court documents state Kennedy communicated with who he thought was a underage subject he wished to engage in sexual conduct with when it was actually an undercover officer. Kennedy is scheduled to be arraigned February 24 in Roane County Criminal Court.
