ROANE COUNTY MAN WANTED BY CUMBERLAND COUNTY AUTHORITIES AFTER HIGH SPEED PURSUIT
The Tennessee Highway Patrol notified Cumberland County deputies of a driver in a 1995 Ford Escort entering the county Tuesday night possibly with drugs. Officers spotted the car driven by 27-year-old Wyatt Stone Gibson of Harriman on Westel Road near Jolly’s Market. Officers recognized Gibson from a recent booking photo. A deputy attempted to pull over Gibson who allegedly took off at a high rate of speed. A chase started that went onto Rockwood Airport Road reaching speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. Officers lost sight of the vehicle right after Gibson crossed into Morgan County. Gibson is wanted by Cumberland County authorities for evading arrest.
