ROANE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER CHARGED WITH DUI
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has charged a Roane County school board member with driving under the influence. Troopers charged 58-year-old Darrell Langley with DUI following an accident that took place late last week at the Phillips 66 gas station near Interstate 40 in Harriman. According to the report, a 2008 Dodge Caravan was at the gas pumps with no one in the vehicle. Langley, who was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 allegedly backed into the Caravan. There were no injuries in the incident. Langley also serves as the City of Harriman’s Public Works Director. He was elected to another term on the school board last year.
