After receiving a complaint of drug activity at a residence in Roane County, RCSO Narcotics Detective Jason Mynatt and Deputy Darrell Phillips responded to investigate. During surveillance, officers identified Vickie Chabot at the residence, who had outstanding drug-related warrants. During Chabot’s arrest, officers also located her son Steven Cory Stanley who also had several Roane County warrants. At the time of his arrest, Stanley was found to be in possession of suspected heroin, and more drug charges were filed against him. Detective Mynatt noted the proximity of the residence to a daycare facility and determined that it was within 500 feet, which will enhance the drug charges against Stanley.
