ROANE COUNTY WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN CUMBERLAND CO.

A deputy in Cumberland County was summoned yesterday to Sawmill Market on Highway 68 for a motorist asleep in her vehicle at the gas pump.

Officers and medics encountered 40-year-old Heather Renee Fisher of Harriman.

The deputy reportedly smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside Fisher’s vehicle.

A search of the automobile allegedly revealed nearly 16 grams of marijuana, a bag containing 16 suboxone pills, and another bag with close to 4 grams of meth.

Fisher allegedly appeared to be under the influence.

Fisher was arrested for the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of simple possession of drugs.

She was taken to the Cumberland County jail and initially placed under bonds totaling $35,000.
