A vehicle accident late Sunday afternoon in northern Roane County resulted in one injury. The accident report states a pickup truck driven by 47-year-old Angela M. Lloyd of Oliver Springs was traveling west on the 500 block of East Tri County Boulevard when she was hit by a vehicle operated by 21-year-old Marilyn S. Murphy of Harriman, who was turning in to the Food City parking lot. An investigation found Murphy failed to yield to Lloyd. Murphy was taken by ambulance to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
