CROSSVILLE TEEN INJURED AFTER 200 FOOT FALL IN KENTUCKY
A Cumberland County teenager sustained injuries Sunday after falling 200 feet from a guard rail atop a viewing area of Lake Cumberland in Russell County, Kentucky. Rescue crews used boats to reach 17-year-old Christian Beaver. He was taken to Halcolms Landing then flown by an air medical helicopter to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. According to U.K. Medical Center, Beaver was initially listed in critical condition but has since been moved to acute care (step below intensive care).
