A Roane County woman is credited for saving a man’s life yesterday morning. Anna Dobos was driving to work when she saw a home on fire in a wooded area on River Road in the Ten Mile community. Dobos pulled up to the residence and used a hammer to gain access into the home and get 85-year-old Leroy Hallcox out to safety. Hallcox was reportedly not hurt. Roane County authorities call Dobos a hero for her actions in saving Hallcox.
