By Dudley Evans –
The Rockwood City Council will convene for its regular meeting this Monday, October 26th, at 6:00 p.m. at Rockwood City Hall. Council members face a packed agenda featuring public hearings, property tax legislation, infrastructure updates, and community development plans.
Key Legislative & Business Items
-
Property Tax Discount: Under old business, the council will hold a public hearing and second reading for Ordinance 13-38, which proposes a 2% discount for residents who pay their property taxes early.
-
Unsafe Structure Demolition: Under new business, leaders will vote on a resolution authorizing the city attorney to file a lawsuit to demolish a structure deemed unsafe.
