ROCKWOOD FIRE FIGHTERS RESPOND TO HOUSE FIRE ON SOUTH FRONT AVENUE
A single-story home fire in Rockwood, located in the 300 block of South Front Avenue, prompted a rapid response from Rockwood fire personnel around 4:00 PM on Sunday.
With smoke visible from the structure, the Harriman Fire Department provided mutual aid, sending a truck to assist Rockwood firefighters in extinguishing the blaze.
The quick response from fire officials limited damage to the structure, which was unoccupied and being prepared as a rental unit.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
