Rockwood police responded late this morning to 410 Furnace Avenue to assist officers with the Tennessee Department of Corrections in taking a sex offender into custody. The arrest report states 33-year-old Jarrett Inman was arrested on 11 counts of violation of the sex offender registry. Inman was taken to the Roane County jail. Court officials say Inman is labeled as a violent sex offender based on his 2006 conviction of child rape.
