ROCKWOOD MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON AFTER SETTING HOUSE ON FIRE MULTIPLE TIMES

An arrest was made Tuesday night on a Rockwood man for Arson and 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment.

Rockwood firefighters were called to a residence off North Chamberlin Avenue five times in the last couple of months for a reoccurrence of a house fire. A man identified as 48-year-old Donald White Daniels had been residing in the home up until the owner decided to sell the house and asked Mr. White to leave. After the fires began to occur,  officials believed it was possible they had been intentionally set. Rockwood Fire Department, Rockwood Police Department, Harriman Fire Department, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation all assisted in the investigation.

Donald White Daniels was arrested and is being held on a $10,000 Bond at the Roane County Jail.
