A 28-year-old Tennessee man was injured Wednesday evening following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on US Route 70 East.

According to emergency dispatch and incident reports, the crash occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at approximately 5:59 PM near the intersection with Westel Road in Rockwood.

Authorities identified the rider as Tristan Case, who was operating a 2020 Yamaha motorcycle traveling eastbound. For reasons still under review, the motorcycle tipped onto its side and slid along the roadway before coming to a final rest on the eastbound shoulder.
