ROCKWOOD NAMES FORMER CHIEF, INTERIM POLICE CHIEF
Former Rockwood Police Chief Bill Stinnett has been named interim police chief by Rockwood Mayor Mike “Brillo” Miller. Stinnett began his official duties as interim chief Wednesday, Feb. 1, one day after the retirement of former Police Chief Danny Wright.
Stinnett had served as police chief for 10 years, just prior to Wright’s three and 1/2 years of service in the same role. During Wright’s tenure, Stinnett was chief deputy, and second in command.
