Rockwood police took a man into custody yesterday after he allegedly attacked a woman who is 32 weeks pregnant. The arrest report says the victim told officers 18-year-old Zachary Michael Boles grabbed her by the throat then put her in a choke hold. Boles supposedly grabbed a pillow and attempted to smother her then kicked her in the stomach twice. Police noted several injuries to the female. Boles was arrested for aggravated assault and assault on a viable fetus.
