Rockwood’s Walmart store is getting much-needed parking lot improvements. Other work will be conducted around the store in the next couple of weeks.

To douse some fears of Walmart leaving Rockwood which has always been in the back of citizens’ minds, the store has planned a re-grand opening for November which indicates, more than likely, the store will be in Rockwood for many more years to come.

Shoppers are urged to use caution when going through the parking lot as it is restricted to vehicles in some areas while the paving work is ongoing until the paving work can be completed.
