A Roane County grand jury has indicted a Rockwood woman on charges of second-degree attempted murder and aggravated assault. Deputies went to a Dry Hill Road residence last night (Wednesday, June 22, 2017) on Rockwood Mountain to serve the indictment on 55-year-old Regina Denise Walker. According to the Roane County jail, Walker was processed, placed under a $10,000 bond and then released. According to the indictment, Walker allegedly attempted to cause harm to a female using a motor vehicle in June 2015. Walker will make her first court appearance on the charges June 26, 2017 in Roane County court.
