SANDERS ARRESTED AFTER LEAVING HOSPITAL IN INMATE CLOTHING FOLLOWING MOTORCYCLE CHASE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

It wasn’t someone dressed up for Halloween but in fact a male subject in Cumberland County inmate clothing walking on Cleveland Street yesterday morning.

The arrest report indicates 30-year-old Alex Corey Sanders was the rider of a motorcycle involved in a pursuit with law enforcement in Fairfield Glade the night before. Sanders got off and fled on foot on Howard Terrace and was taken into custody a short time later. After being processed in the jail, Sanders was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment and released. He claimed a deputy told him to report back to the justice center once he was out of the hospital.

After being found by Crossville police, Sanders was assisted back to the jail.
