SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS CALLING ON MOTORISTS TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL

School bus drivers are now writing down license plates of motorists that are disregarding stop signs deployed on the buses when children are picked up. Such was the case in Cumberland County this morning when a driver did not stop and came very close to hitting at least one child. Motorists are strongly advised to pay attention to school buses, especially when they are stopped to pick up children. Based on tag numbers turned in of alleged offenders, cases could be made by law enforcement on those who fail to stop.
