The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Scott County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michael Hanson was involved in a vehicle accident on Highway 27 near Wolf Creek Road in Robbins.

Scott and Morgan County Emergency responders responded to the scene to aid Hanson.

He sustained injuries and was transported to U.T. Medical Center. He is reportedly in stable condition.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
