SCOTT MASON, CITY MANAGER OF HARRIMAN, RESIGNS
Scott Mason, the City Manager of Harriman, resigned last Friday, bringing an end to his management of the city after a period of service. In his departure, Mason expressed optimism about the city’s current standing, stating that Harriman is in a strong position right now and that he felt it was the right time for a change in leadership.
He described his next chapter as “a step of faith,” noting that he currently has no specific plans lined up. While he intends to continue working, Mason remains uncertain about his immediate future role or location. In the meantime, he has committed to helping ensure a smooth transition for the city, assisting city officials and staff during the interim period as they search for his replacement.
