SEARCH FOR LOST TEEN IN THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK CONTINUES
The search continues for a male teen missing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park since last Friday. 18-year-old Austin Bohanan was last seen around 8 PM on Aug. 11. He had been reportedly hiking along on off-trail in a remote portion of the park’s southwest corner with his stepfather when the two became separated. Austin’s disappearance was not reported until Sunday. Officials do not know why the family waited so long to report the incident. An investigation into the matter is underway.
