The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an escaped inmate.

Officers say 39-year-old Damian Vincent Reynolds fled last night by mixing in with some inmates that were being released. He had no uniform on as he was just being booked in, and he left with inmates being booked out.

Officials describe Reynolds as a Caucasian male standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes with the letters DVR tattooed on his stomach and a cross with the name Deeanna tattooed on his left leg.

Reynolds was charged with theft of property, along with failure to appear and another misdemeanor charge.
