Cookeville police say three teenagers escaped a Knox County facility they were being held at and later stole a vehicle in Roane County. Two of the minors are in custody after being arrested in Cookeville. Officers are still searching for 17-year-old Kendontez La Danus Woodland Murray. He is described as an African-American, standing 5′ 10″, weighing 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts. Officers said he may be armed with a handgun. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
