SEICKENDICK AND KIRKLAND ARRESTED ON WEAPON AND DRUG CHARGES

Law enforcement in Cumberland County responded to a suspicious driver in a vehicle parked on Fred Ford Road in front of a home. Authorities encountered the occupants 53-year-old David Edward Seickendick and Mary Francis Kirkland, both of Crossville. A search of the automobile reportedly revealed two loaded firearms, drugs and drug paraphernalia. Seickendick was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Kirkland was charged with manufacture, sale and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm while committing a felony. Both were taken to jail where bonds in the total amount of $45,000 was set for Seickendick and $16,000 for Kirkland.
