A semi-truck flipped onto its roof Saturday afternoon following a single-vehicle accident on Cox Valley Road near Highway 68.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 PM on September 12, 2026. According to accident reports, a 2022 Kenworth commercial motor vehicle driven by 35-year-old Hakeem Bass was traveling south on Cox Valley Road when the vehicle’s right rear trailer tires drifted off the right side of the roadway.

The lapse caused the truck to overturn down an embankment, ultimately coming to rest upside down in a roadside ditch. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to evaluate the driver, who sustained possible injuries in the crash.
