SEVERAL USED SYRINGES FOUND IN VEHICLE AFTER ARREST
A Crossville woman was arrested and charged with drug violations last week. Police were dispatched to a Donetta Drive apartment for a warrant arrest on 26-year-old Lanea Moss. Moss was discovered sitting in a parked car and at first, gave officers a phony name. She attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly caught and began to fight. She was taken to the ground, restrained and confessed to having recently injected heroin. Several used syringes were found inside the vehicle. Moss also had active warrants out of Bedford and Rutherford Counties.
