A severed finger found at a crime scene in the Marlow community of Anderson County yesterday led to an arrest. Law enforcement responded to a report of a stolen log splitter and later learned 50-year-old Hugh John Seeber was dropped off at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Seeber was taken to U.T. Medical Center for further treatment where officers returned the missing body part. He was charged with felony theft of property.
