Cumberland County deputies went yesterday to a home on Grouse Court in Fairfield Glade to serve warrants on a convicted sex offender.

Officers encountered 27-year-old Joshua Michael Davis. They arrested him on two felony counts of violation of the sex offender registry taken out by a state probation officer.

Davis was taken to the Cumberland County jail and initially placed under a $10,000 bond.

Davis went on the registry after his conviction for a criminal attempt to commit sexual exploitation of a minor.
