Morgan County sheriff’s deputies rushed to a scene Monday evening just after 7 pm, after shots were fired at 119 Heidel Circle, where an officer was.

The Morgan County deputy stated that shots were fired, and that’s when many more Morgan County deputies headed out to assist. The initial officer on the scene, the one who gave out the call, was not injured.

Following a few minutes and after a resident there apparently suffered a seizure, a teen was taken into custody, according to the report on the scanner.

No further details were given, and an ambulance was dispatched to treat the individual for the seizure.
